At Energy Advance Co., Ltd., an energy service company, a "lightning detector" was installed to catch voltage drops caused by lightning in advance. However, this product only issued an alarm indicating that lightning had occurred, without providing information on the location or direction of the strike. Additionally, frequent false detections were problematic, and there were often instances where no lightning activity could be confirmed at all. Therefore, we introduced the lightning and weather information provision system "Lightning Scope Plus." Since implementing this product, we have been able to quickly and accurately grasp lightning occurrences.
